At the start of the new work series, the artist still links back to the familiar. Then he becomes increasingly bold: the pictorial concept gains in clarity and the artist in confidence in his approach.
Urs Raussmüller has used 150 silk-screen prints – each unique in its colorfulness – to form a reflective surface for the incident daylight under the skylight of his hall. The light hits the color field and is reflected back by it. It appears in changing tones on the floor, walls and ceiling of the space.

Die Geschichte der Raumskulptur „Das Kapital Raum 1970-1977“ beginnt zu einem Zeitpunkt, als Joseph Beuys selbst noch nicht wusste, welche Form dieses Werk letztlich haben würde und Urs Raussmüller nicht ahnte, welche Konsequenzen sich daraus ergeben würden.
